Main Menu Job Corps Career Clusters YouthBuild U.S.A. CareerOneStop

Whether you are in high school and trying to plan your future, no longer in high school and in need of some assistance in getting your future on track or just looking for some guidance, there are other options you should consider.

Job Corps is a no-cost education and vocational training program administered by the U.S. Department of Labor that helps young people ages 16 through 24 get a better job, make more money and take control of their lives. At Job Corps, students enroll to learn a trade, earn a high school diploma or GED and get help finding a good job.

The Career Clusters is information for high school students who know what possible careers interest them and want to know how to start preparing early for them. Click that button, if that describes you.

YouthBuild programs engage unemployed young men and women, most of whom have not completed high school and all of whom come from low income families. YouthBuild enables them to serve their communities by building affordable housing, and assists them in transforming their own lives and roles in society. Participants spend 6 to 12 months in the program and after graduating, students have access to resources and opportunities that can support and assist them as they advance their careers, pursue postsecondary education, build assets, and become role models locally and nationally.

Finally, the nation's One-Stop Career Centers are there to help all Americans seeking career and job assistance. To find a center in your area, enter your Zip or State in the form on the following page.
